Easy Drop Scones

INGREDIENTS

25g butter

140g self raising flour

pinch of salt

1 tablespoon of caster sugar

1 large egg

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

150ml semi skimmed milk

INSTRUCTIONS

Mix everything in a blender or nutribullet. Leave it to rest for at least twenty minutes. Heat some butter in a pan and when it is foaming add a big spoon of the mixture in one part of the pan. Move clockwise adding spoons of mix to the pan, giving them enough room to spread. When you see lots of bubble appearing it is time to turn them over. Once turned they should take a couple of minutes to turn golden on the other side. Whilst cooking the rest of the mix keep the drop scones warm on a warmed plate and cover with a tea towel. Serve with golden syrup and butter.
